Summary: This is not a bad game. It is very challenging, the graphics are very good, and it features a hint system that actually works. It does have terrible voice acting, so leave the volume down. If you are a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, then you should at least try this out!
Summary: I am a big Sherlock Holmes fan and I had no idea how this game was going to be. The only thing you do in this game is search. However, the controls are smooth for a DS game and the graphics are really good. The gameplay is standard puzzle solving told entirely from the point of view of Sherlock, which is cool. There's also a hint system which for once actually works. If you're a fan than I recommend this game highly.
Summary: I was extremely excited for this game, being as I'm a fan of both Sherlock Holmes and adventure games. Honestly, though, I couldn't get past the first room. The graphics have been dulled down so far from the original (which is a computer game) that it's grainy and hard to actually tell what you're looking at.
Summary: I just wrote a scathing review of JewelQuest/Mysterville on how much I disliked them cuz they are timed games with no option for relaxed mode. Same goes for this one too. One other thing I don't like about this one is the circle about the room, and top to bottom. It is another one that will stay in its' box. Now mind you, I have received these games today. Never even got out of the first room. Hate all three of the games and feel I wasted my $27+ dollars...........

Summary: I guess I was a bit more impressed with this game than the majority of reviewers. It took me a long time to finish and I had to refer to a walkthrough. The game does provide clues on one of the menu screens, but I rarely used it because I forgot it was there. It would have been helpful.
Summary: This game is much improved over the PC origonal. Some puzzles have been removed giving the game a more adventure feel. While the gameplay was enjoyable, the game's cutscenes were very well done for a DS game and made the game. The gameplay itself is easy and the puzzles were fun and well integrated into the story. The game contains the entire walkthrough for the game inside - a great plus. Graphics were same as PC - which is very good.
Summary: I preordered this game. I love mystery/puzzle games for the DS and Sherlock Holmes? How could you go wrong? I got as far as the library and ended up trading in the game. Major disappointment! The graphics are awful and it's hard to maneuver around the scenes with the stylus. Also, there's not much of a storyline, and I forgot why I was collecting clues in the first place. Some other people have commented that the voiceover narration didn't match the onscreen subtitles.
