More Like A PC Game

  • Summary: It was okay I beat it by the next day I received it, it reminds me more of a game that I would download of the internet. I didn't like how they don't tell you what you are suppose to do when they give you a puzzle but sometimes its easy to figure out for yourself. I guess all around though it was okay.

Surprisingly Good...

  • Summary: I have to say, I am a little displeased with the 'it's okay' and the negative reviews this game received here. I got it on a whim one day because I love anything Sherlock Holmes (the books are a staple in my home), and I found it to be quite fun. The puzzles can be challenging or simple depending on how many puzzle games you actually play. I will agree that it is a short game (I beat it in four hours and nineteen minutes), but I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This game is horrible

  • Summary: I am a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, but this game is absolutely horrible. The puzzles are unsolvable without a walkthrough. There are no direction given whatsoever on how to solve the puzzles or what the point of each puzzle is. The comparison to Professor Layton is ridiculous. Professor Layton puzzles make sense and have the direction on what each puzzle is and what needs to be done to solve it.

It's okay.

  • Summary: I always look forward to mystery games & rarely do I get disappointed. This game having taken so long in coming out seemed to be lacking on many levels. Although I do not like to have the mystery solved for me or the clues spoonfed to me, this game for the most part left a player totally in the dark on any real kind of direction to go. Here's hoping the next one (if it comes out) is better.

  • Summary: I wish they would give you clues on how to work the puzzles instead of having to purchase the clues.

Wait for a price drop

  • Summary: This game is very short. It keeps a timer on your gameplay (not to penalize you, just keeping track). I'm not a particularly fast player; I'm frequently amazed at how quickly other Amazon customer reviewers report that they completed a game. However, since this game does keep track of your elapsed game play time, I can say that I finished it in just under 4 hours. It is a mix of hidden object and puzzles. I enjoy the genre--one of my faves.

  • Summary: Rather short and too easy. Not a good challenge I thought. Would not recommend it to anyone who likes to be puzzled.

Probably quite reasonable when one can get over the first hurdle.

  • Summary: Am unable to give a fair judgement on this game I became stuck soon after starting it and my clever granddaughter has not had the time to help yet.
