Great ideas, but not an enjoyable game to actually play.

Excerpt: Following the recent surge in puzzle games, Rooms: the main building is another puzzle game, but with a completely different style to it to many other games. It is a sliding piece puzzle, split into 100 levels.
Don't buy unless you have extremely good eyesight or a dsi xl!

Summary: Having looked forward to the puzzling experience promised by the tv ads I am very very disappointed with this game. For a start, the actual playing area is probably around 1/4 of the available screen - the rest is taken up with static building-block-type graphics that do nothing to enhance the...
Summary: What a disappointment this is - I waited for it for a birthday present and was really looking forward to getting it. The graphics are so tiny that its hard to see what you're supposed to be doing - if I have had any success its more by luck than anything else. Afraid I have given up on it.
Summary: I totally agree with the above review. I was so disappointed with this game, and I feel its so unfair not to be able to get refunds on these games as they cost a lot of money! I thought this one was going to be like professor Layton style which the ad showed, I also should of waited for the reviews...
Summary: Got this when it first came out as all the advertising and hype made it look like a cracking game. More fool me. This must be the most boaring game Ive ever come across, endless shifting the blocks(rooms)about in puzzles absolutely no story to keep you involved.
Summary: I had hoped for more variety and enjoyment from this game. After playing a few times it became very repetitive and boring. Each screen is very similar. However, the difficulty level does increase. Not worth the money.
Summary: I bought this is haste from an advert on the television...........big mistake. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be at all. Instead you just have a series of puzzles varying from easy to very difficult, in different rooms in the mansion and that is all there is to it.
Summary: Bought this game as I thought it would be similar to Prof Layton games, but it's the same thing over and over. All the puzzles are the same, you just slide the pieces around. Not worth the money.
