Summary: I already love this game even though I got it 2 days ago. It is hard to find a person who has this game, but what ever. I now finally play the first resident evil game on the go. I like how it has a secret function that allowed you to pick up items and double it. The function is when you decide to choose rebirth mode or classic. When you decide to choose that mode, don't click it yet. Hold down the right d- pad on that mode t'll it turns green then click that mode.
Summary: This version of Resident Evil is essentially the same game from 1996 on the Playstation. However, it does add a handful of new features, such as the tactical knife not taking up inventory space, the ability to skip cutscenes/door opening sequences, subtitles, and new REBIRTH mode, which has the main game, but with substantial differences that take advantage of the DS features. All in all, if you are a fan of RE and RE: Director's cut, I would definitely buy this.
Summary: I still have my very first Resident Evil game, bought for the PS1, and I still play it! I wanted something familiar to get the hang of the 3DS with, and this game didn't disappoint! The gameplay, so far, has been pretty true to the original, but I love the little extras they throw in. The parts where you have to use the touchpad to slash at enemies really help to keep this fresh.
Summary: I you are a fan of the original Play Station game than you must get this game for Ninetendo DS. A really good Port over to the DS. I haven't tried the rebirth mode yet but I imagine it is a remix of the original game. I give Ninetendo for growing up some and making more mature games for their systems for those fans that grew up playing their games.
Summary: If you've played the original PS1 Game you know exactly what your getting into. These days you can pick up a PSN Copy of this game for Only 9.99. I only recommend this game if A: You are dedicated on playing on DS Hardware B: Have no PSN Hardware C: Never played the original. D: Want to add to collection I actulley fall into groups A, C and D. I've played the original but never finished it due to constantly busy circumstances.
Summary: I love this game, I was 16 years old when I played the original when it debuted and it was always a favorite of mine. You get to shoot zombies and monsters so you've got your action covered, but then you also have to use your head to figure out how to get to the next step and strategize how to most effectively use your ammo and health items. Finding this reformatted for the DS while shopping for my son is what got me back into video games!
