Summary: I ordered this game right after Thanksgiving and as of Jan. 23, I still don't have it. I have tried tracking the package but I can't get a response from anyone. Meanwhile, they have my money and I have no game. Ugh!!!
Summary: My 6 yr old got this game for her birthday in Feb. and she and her 3yr brother play it all the time! They love it. I am so glad that there are actually educational games for the nintendo gaming systems. Now at least some of the time playing it will be educational. Thank you Reader Rabbit. I hope that Jump Start, Leap Frog and others will follow this example. These games are so much fun for the little ones.
Summary: I bought this for our 4-year old and he requests it more than SuperMario Kart because it has a variety of games - numbers, spelling, music, learning different lengths and widths. He loves the characters -Reader and Sam and refers to them daily. You will need the stylus for these games, which also works on their fine motor coordination for writing. Some of the games are above his head right now, but with adult guidance, the concepts become automatic.
Summary: My 4 year old played only once and did not like the game. The characters are too small and hard to follow up what to do next for him. The parents should sit next to them and explain all the time. I don't recommend the game.
Finally fun and educational game for my daughters DS!

Summary: My 6 year old daughter has played reader rabbit on our home computer for 2 years now and really enjoys the games. All she wanted for Christmas 2009 was a Nintendo DS, I was very reluctant because so few truly educational games are available for it and I did not want to see her neglect her interest in practicing letters and simple addition etc in favor of playing her DS because it was fun.
