Summary: I have played the Wii version of the Rayman Rabbid 2 and was hoping to get a portable version of it which would brings me the same entertainment value, however i was kind of disappointed with the NDS version, didnt enjoy it as much, stop playing after like 45mins.
Summary: Spellbound is a game which tries to get you to improve your spelling and many other aspects of speech and language. I suffer from spelling problems and without a computer to help me cheat I would be terrible so getting this game was a big risk for me because I knew I would look foolish into some of the spelling errors I would create. I must stress this game is for other activities as well and not just spelling as I have mentioned.
Spellbound (DS): Let me spell out how bad this game is.

Pros: Spelling practise for children
Cons: Repetitive, unimaginitive & boring for anyone aged over 8
Summary: If there's one thing I find it hard to get particularly excited about, it's probably a game that centers around spelling, ranking just above a times tables recitation simulator. I looked into Spellbound more out of curiosity than anything else. The packaging looks nice, and I wondered, how could you pull off a game about spelling? I was hoping to find out. Spellbound is presented in the format of a quiz show.
Pros: A reason for hardcore spelling-lovers to buy a DS
Cons: Superfluous game modes, gameplay is not well thought out
Summary: I'm a big fan of the brain training and word games on the DS so Spellbound seemed to be the perfect addition to my games collection. Described by the makers an exciting and enjoyable game for all the family I couldn't wait to try it out. The game takes the format of a quiz show with an American host who sits at his podium and asks you questions.
Conclusion: I really loved the wii version of this game so thought I`d get this too. It`s not quite as good but still a great game for the ds. you play a veriety of mini games to unlock more funny mini games, and you also gain more outfits to dress up your rabbid. you unlock the games by playing in 'adventure mode', and see how well you can do by playing in 'score mode'. It`s quite addictive, so it does`nt take long to unlock them all. really fun game and visually it`d brill too.
Conclusion: the game itself is good, however no where near as good as the wii game. in structure it is different and limited on the variety. i completed it in about ten days and that was not continuous playing. it is a real shame and i would have loved it to just have a bit more "meat" to it.
