Poor controls make an already tough game too hard.

  • Summary: Parents need to know that Rango DS has far more violence than the film on which it's based. The fighting in the game may be less realistic here, but it's more frequent. There's a massive amount of reading required, and the vocabulary level is quite high.

The game is set in the Old West town of 'Dirt' where players romp through a gritty, pint-sized, Wild West filled with wild rides, off-color characters and frantic shoot-outs.

  • Excerpt: Dass ein Spiel zum Film nicht immer gut sein muss, zeigte EA erst mit dem neuesten Ableger der Harry Potter Reihe. Bei , das ebenfalls von Electronic Arts vertrieben wird, soll nun alles anders werden. Aber macht der Chamäleon-Sheriff abseits der großen Leinwand tatsächlich eine gute Figur?

  • Conclusion: Das Spiel macht in der Zeit, in der man es spielt, Spaß, der allerdings seine Grenze in dem Punkt findet, dass das Spiel nach maximal 5 Stunden bereits durchgespielt ist und zwar mit allem drum und dran.
