Summary: Okay, where do I begin? I've played Ragnarok online off and on for like a decade now but I'll try to judge the game with as little bias as possible. I'll begin with the positives and then list the negatives... I'm only about 6 hours in so far but I feel I've seen enough content to judge it appropriately. *The good*- The soundtrack is amazing, it's the exact same as the full version.
Summary: As Ragnarok DS is a offline and limited version of Ragnarok Online, some people can think that this game is bad, but I realised that it's a very nice and well made game. As I love play Ragnarok Online, since the begining I remember the MMORPG that originated this game and this give more desire to play and discover the mechanical of Ragnarok DS. Some changes were made and some features were taken so it could be adapted to DS.
Summary: But with alot more restriction. On the story mode, I feel that it is so easy to pass the game (I wont spoil it out) and how the map works i feel its very restrictive. Also the job only goes to the 2nd, which is like swordsman, hunter, wizard, etc. No 3rd jobs. Overall though so far i enjoy playing it. If you did play Ragnarok before you should get this.
Summary: As a lover of Ragnarok, I enjoyed the first few hours, but then it sucked. While the main gameplay mechanic with the stylus is fairly solid, the maps are in very short supply. There are maybe 5 different dungeon maps and countless similar quests in this game, which means you'll be sent back to maps you've already visited countless times to locate some new damned thing.
Summary: Ragnarok is a simple game that allows the player to do as s/he pleases. The flexibility of choosing the jobs and skills is remarkable. I would recommend this to those who enjoy a simple story line and a lot of action.
Most people forget about the essence of the MMORPG

Summary: I really liked this game, I've been playing Ragnarok Online for some years and I really think that the essence of the game I played the first time is not what the Online game is nowadays, the fact that you had to complete quests and get your skills improved one by one, to get special skills you had to do a huge quest for every different character, among other features made this game a really cool and different MMORPG but now the online game is something completely...
Summary: I ordered this expecting exactly what other reviewers described, and I was not disappointed. This is a very basic distillation of the single-player aspects of Ragnarok Online. It's basically a series of hunt-and-fetch quests. You will walk around a lot, you will probably get bored more than once, and if you are hoping for variation or even plot twists, you will be disappointed (in any case, it would be hard to say this game has something that could reasonably called a...
