  • Excerpt: Planet puzzle league is probably one of the best DS game out there in its genre as this is what the console was made for. Simple modern looking interface that hides a devilishly addictive game which just involves matching symbols, yeah sound easy but just wait until you start playing!!

  • Excerpt: I bought this game used a couple of months ago and it is truly addictive! I have literally spent hours playing this game! I bought it pre-owned three months ago and am yet to get bored of it! The game consists of a grid of coloured squares which you need to eliminate by sliding the squares to the left or right and making chains of three or four same coloured blocks.

  • Conclusion: this game is exactly the same as ONE of the games on another game called touchmaster(one game filled with lots of minigames). so why get this for 18 when its also 18 for lots of other games including this one!!!

Puzzle League DS is the best puzzle game for the DS!

  • Conclusion: You can choose to play the game with the screen vertical ( default ) or horizontally. The aim of the game is to line up three or more blocks of the same colour using your stylus. As you get better at the game you can form many combos as the blocks line up and fall down. Just like Tetris this game is simple but very, very additive. Puzzle League DS is great fun in single player but even more fun in multi player and very intense.

As Addictive As Tetris

Woody2007, Play.com
16 April 2008
  • Conclusion: This is a great puzzle game which is just as addictive as Tetris. Its been around on various Nintendo platforms for a while now (GBA & GC, some older Nintendos in Japan) and has been released under several names such as Panel De Pon & Pokemon Puzzle League. The game is simple to learn and hard to put down, basically line up 3 or more of the same coloured shapes and they disappear, but you can only move them sideways.

Simple yet addictive

  • Conclusion: This is a very simple game. Simple match 3 or more items in a row to complete a column (very Tetris like), however, you can only slide sideways and use the stylus. Once you play, its so addictive that you'll carry on playing. Believe me, i've been hooked. Could do with more variety i guess (apart from Garbage, time and Unlimited)...hence it got lower than i would have. great as a multiplayer though.

  • Conclusion: This game is absolutely fantastic and you will love it. It is great to play with your friends who have DS's and the other players don't need to have the game because you can do it on DS download play. I would highly reccomend this game(shown by my extremely high rating)and you are garunteed to love this game for a long time.

It's in a league of it's own

Wiiloveit, Play.com
16 April 2008
  • Conclusion: As a puzzle game, this does it all. It has a simple premise (slide blocks left and right as much as you want until three or more of the same colour line up together), but performs it brilliantly and makes it just as addictive for casual gamers as it is for more hardcore gamers. OK, the name lets it down a bit and makes people just push it away as another one of Nintendo's ways to make puzzles and brain games fun.
