Summary: I absolute LOVE Project Rub! It's hilarious and easy to pick up and just go. I had to do a few levels a few times before I completed them, and Im still working on the minigame versions where you can earn new clothes, shoes and heads for your 'girlfriend'. Some levels I absolutely hated, the monocyle over sharks for instance but most of them were just very very funny. The only downside is that the story is relatively short.
Excerpt: This game, from sega, has the same sort of structure as Warioware. However I am sure this game is far less annoying and pleasing to the eye. Also the mini games (of which the game is made up of) go on for a lot longer so you can get to grips with them and appreciate them.
Summary: if youve played warioware, this is very similar.I couldnt understand why this got a harsh reception on release.its similar to warioware, but with different puzzles, some better.its fast, with challenge after challenge. Its so cheap now,im sure anyone wouldbe delighted with this, but not for small children.

Excerpt: "Project Rub is a Nintendo DS launch title, that flaunts the new and unique attributes of the hand-held console. Also known as Feel the Magic: XY/XX, and Kimi no Tame nara Shineru in Japan, it was released at the E3 Media and Business Summit in 2004 by the then-executive managing director, Yuji Naka. It has since the "Best Concept" award at the 2006 Imagina Games Awards. A quirky, Japanese-influenced game that bares striking similarities to the ...
Pros: Addictive mini - games that show off the Nintendo DS's potential
Cons: Being defeated in the levels will leave you VERY frustrated !
Summary: I was drawn to this title for it's quirkiness above everything else. It looked interesting & good fun. As well as it's quirkiness Project Rub also looked like it would make perfect use of the DS's touch screen & stylus as well. It certainly does that & it's hard to imagine the game having half as much appeal if it didn't have this kind of system. Project Rub is effectively a series of quirky & often very strange mini-games.
Looks brilliant in parts, but overrated and...... that music!

Summary: Project Rub (AKA "Feel the Magic XY/XX") is basically a series of mini games masquerading as a dating sim. The game opens with an impressive animation, combining retro and contemporary graphical influences. Some in-game graphics are also stylistically impressive. In some other areas, however, the graphics are more just simplistic or dated-looking. As for playability, the mini-games just aren't that satisfying, and many feel underdeveloped.
