Excerpt: The first Professor Layton game I played was The Lost Future which I received as a Christmas gift and when I saw this one, I had to play. I bought it from an online auction site, eBay for £5 (I think, I can't remember the price fully - sorry) and foolishly gave it away after I played it.
Excerpt: Having received a ds for Christmas 2008 I played and played it then the novelty wore off, I'd played the games and completed most of them and the rest were repetitive. My son has now discovered by ds and likes to play some of the games.
Excerpt: I think the game is very nice, because it has a nice story and it isn't too short or too long. If you like puzzles you can play this for hours. It has a surprising ending. First I didn't really understand the story but if you play it for a while it all makes sense.
Pros: nice story, a lot of puzzles, not too short .

When he gets a mysterious letter from an old friend about the mysterious Elysian box – also known as Pandora’s box – he and...
Pros: An interesting game with challenging puzzles and good longevity
Cons: Nothing major for me although you do have to enjoy puzzles to like the game
Excerpt: INTRODUCTION Having really enjoyed playing Professor Layton and the Curious Village, it was an obvious choice to get the sequel Professor Layton and Pandora's Box, which is the second game in the popular puzzle and mystery solving series.
Really, really fun puzzler that everyone can enjoy.

Excerpt: I got this game for my birthday last year and had never even heard of, let alone played, a Professor Layton game. I am a big fan of puzzles in general so after reading the back of the box I was looking forward to getting stuck into it.
Excerpt: Personally, as a typical 16 year old girl, I secretly love my nintendo games, and Professor Layton is no exception. The stories are very interesting as you travel around trying to uncover the latest mystery, whilst coming across puzzles frequently, ranging in difficulty.
Pros: Exciting story lines, interesting puzzles of ranging difficulty, not quick to complete
Excerpt: Having bought and thoroughly enjoyed the original Professor Layton game it was no surprise that upon the release of this second game last year we would be buying the follow up. Both Jen and myself had been addicted to the original game and with the return of Layton and his apprentice Luke we were...
Pros: Another very addictive story, great graphics, good gameplay
Cons: Some puzzles too easy, Navigation system still a little rusty
Excerpt: I had thoroughly enjoyed the previous Professor Layton so I had added Professor Layton and Pandora's Box (Diabolical Box is the US name) to my Christmas List. I was very pleased to receive it and I excitedly looked forward to playing it.
