Conclusion: What a great start this is for pro evo on DS. It's graphics are quite abismal but the gameplay is really good and it's very addicting. Once you've completed it though there is nothing left to do really apart from net play and it only takes a few hours to complete. Very good fun though and well worth a pruchase from pro evo fans!
Excerpt: Disappointing! I am a huge football fan and after buying my ds a while back i decided a football game is a must. After my first match i was regretting my purchase, the graphics on this game are absolutely terrible, the players have no detail to them and just look like lines, the gameplay is very simple and the fact that konami have tried to include special techniques and skills is laughable, they are far to complex to use in a match and end up losing you the ball anyway.
Pros: Wifi mode, playable, simple to play
Cons: Poor graphics, limited play modes, as good as no sound and severe lack of licenses
Summary: First of all, this is a DS game. As such, you really can't compare it to PES6 on the PS2 etc. Secondly, and more importantly, this is a good little football game on the DS. You can play quick matches between over 80 national teams, and there are a few club teams such as Arsenal and Juventus. The controls are easy to pick up, and are almost exactly like the PS2 version.
Summary: This game is okay - the graphics are a bit smudgy, but that can be expected on a DS. Gameplay is reasonable with lots of options and a Career Mode where you have to beat all the other teams. This keeps you busy for a while. There are lots of passes and shots to master, although some of the controls can become quite fiddly with the layout of the DS's buttons. My main gripe with this game is how unresponsive it is at times - you can be through on goal, press shoot ...
Summary: I'm another person surprised by the negative reviews. First of all I will go through all the good things. 1.It plays brillianty- fantastic ball physics and realistic movements surpass even the XBOX version of FIFA 07. 2.Great online play. 3.The World Tour mode(replacing the master league) is pretty darn good- unique ane ejoyable. Now the bad points... 1.
Summary: I am actually surprised by the negative reviews for Pro Evo 6 on the DS as fundamentally it does a lot right that FIFA 06 and 07 didn't. For starters the game play and the depth is more enjoyable and realistic- you have to build up attacks as opposed to running through from your own goal line and scoring wonder goals every other game. Tackling & passing feels more realistic and the refereeing is actually spot on.
Summary: The biggest let down is its wifi connection and also when sharing the game with others (almost 15 mins). The gameplay is ok but quite unrealistic because of the physics of the ball, it seems to just loop too much. I hope there are other better sport games on the ds because this is not it!
