PONY FRIENDS 2 is a game developed and published by EIDOS for the NDS game console and is the sequel to the top selling DS title, Pony Friends. The game is also available on the Wii and PC platform. Pony Friends 2 allows players the chance to create their perfect Pony and take part in activities. The game features 12 Pony breeds, including 4 new breeds. Players can customise every aspect of their pony’s appearance, including its own unique personality. Players can choose all their Pony’s accessories and also design some of their own. Gameplay involves taking special care of their Pony to keep it clean and healthy and taking it on trail rides across different landscapes and environments. Pony Friends 2 features a competitive mode across all formats that allow players to compete in races and trick competitions alone or with a friend on the DS (single cart play). Players can trade ponies and talk to their Ponies on the Nintendo DS system specifically.

Pony Friends 2 features a gameplay that lets players race, compete and trade with their friends. Gamers can enter race and trick competitions and win trophies. It also lets gamers explore trails, befriend wild ponies and photograph wildlife to discover secrets, through a range of trails and through open areas, alone or with a friend. Along the way gamers can earn new accessories and create a specific look for their Pony. They can also choose and personalise their ponies and everything else as desired. Part of the gameplay also includes grooming and taking care of their Pony to keep it clean and happy.
