Summary: A very positive entry into the series, with a welcome collection of new pokemon, this game does suffer from some serious flaws. Coming into play after the general disappointment of the 4th Generation, 5th Gen. starts off with a lot of expectation, and While I personally enjoyed 4th Gen, I can understand why people felt upset by it. The 4th Gen.
Summary: Not as good as some of the older titles, but still an enjoyable game. And having played the sequel to this one too, I'll have to admit I've liked the first one better. Slightly more difficult, even if the sequel added a whole bunch of stuff. It's pretty silly when it comes to the storyline though, on one hand it's trying to be all mature and serious, but on the other... Hey, it's Pokémon. The best way to describe it would probably be "edgy".
Summary: Created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996, Nintendo's Pokémon franchise has become one of the most successful video game franchises in the world, with sales of the games reaching more than two-hundred million copies, in spite of the franchise barely evolving over its decade-and-a-half existence.
Summary: I purchased this item for my friend, who had never played a Pokemon game, but was in love with the universe. She thoroughly enjoyed it, though there are obvious problems with it compared to other generations, such as a non-existent postgame.
Summary: Little back ground this is my first pokemon game since gold. I have since played X so with that let my give you some thoughts. While I loved seeing nothing but brand new pokemon, the game seemed to lack the same enthusiasm and excitement that the previous games I played had. Now at first I thought it was just nostalgia but having recently been blown away and amazed by X I can tell you it isn't. The best part of the game is after you become league champion.
Summary: She just started watching pokemon and wanted to play the game so I bought her a copy of this game, she likes it but shes having a hard time grasping some of the concepts which is why I gave this 4 stars other wise it shuts her up for an hour or two after I pick her up from school.
A great Pokemon game like the others, but not the greatest

Summary: A great Pokemon game, but the newer Pokemon are kind of lame, some features have been taken out that existed in the past game (like the phone option and rematches in G/S/C/HG/SS), and the in-game backpack is horribly cluttered, reminding you of Gen I more than anything else. (WHY did they have to un-seperate Poke Balls from general items? I prefer HeartGold and SoulSilver's "too organized" backpack over this cluttered and confusing one.
