Summary: This game seems to be programmed for the NDS, uses the touch screen perfectly and uses the internet connection, but still uses the same gameplay, a bit of RPG with the main story being defeating an organization, acquiring gym badges, defeating the league and capturing strong pokemons.
Summary: Its a great game period. But I do feel Nintendo is making pokemon to easy to beat, the game doesn't give many options in choosing pokemon. It's either the crappy trash bag or the incredibly good dragon. Yes every game has its great pokemon and its bad pokemon but this one doesn't have enough good pokemon that even though they don't have the great stats you can be more strategic and use special moves.
Summary: Well I guess I'm a little biased since I have played every other pokemon game before this one. Therefore it is hard for me to find anything exciting and new about this game. However I can say the graphics are nice and the storyline is slightly more interesting. Nice as usual. The pokemon on the other hand are CRAP. I mean really, a pokemon shaped like an ice cream cone?? Yeah...I'm not impressed.
Summary: Pokemon, how can it go wrong? There are new pokemon. However it is the same old sounds, same old storyline, same old system. Now this is a good thing depending how you view the product. If you are a fan of the pokemon games, then by all means buy it. But, if you were hoping for something new, look elsewhere.
Summary: Way too much dialogue. I have all 8 badges, finished the Pokemon League battles and moved on to the second part of the game and I'm still not enjoying it as much as Silver, Gold, Diamond and Pearl. Some minor improvements in how info is found, but very poor use of touch screen. Almost seems like a step backwards in game play, but elaborate, time-wasting videos have been added.
Summary: This game is overall alright. It changes to much from verything else. All of the siginture things you grew up with in pokemon games seem to be gone. If this was the first game in a game series, it would be one of the best games i have ever played.
Summary: Main-series Pokémon games are mostly all the same, so there's not much to say about them. They all follow the same pattern and so on. So if you've played one, you can assume that everything is pretty much the same as it's always been. However, compared to HeartGold and SoulSilver, which i absolutely LOVED, this game feels very sloppy. I have heard that it was developed concurrently with HGSS and that on top of that it was rushed -- maybe that's why. But it's no excuse.
