Summary: I think this version of Pokemon Ranger was ok but I felt it was lacking in a way that Shadows of Almia didn't; don't get me wrong being able to summon legendary pokemon and ride them is awesome but it just felt like it was missing something.
Summary: Bought this game for my 6 year old boy and he did not like it. There was alot of reading to do and it was not the action game he was looking for. I think it is more of an informational Pokemon game than the others.
If you are looking for a ranger game, get Shadows of Almia instead.

Summary: I bought Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia after my sister got it, and instantly got completely addicted. The plot was stupendous, and the ranger twist was great. When I found out a new ranger game was coming out, I was thrilled. I bought it as soon as I got my next Amazon gift card. I started to play as soon as I got it. Most of the new additions were quite fun, for example the primary feature of the game: being able to call back certain Pokemon previously captured.
Summary: While the game is in super good condition, it isn't a PAL version. There was a sticker with 'Region free' on, but the box itself says otherwise. If only there was a photo of the back, I could have seen the Nintendo Seal, and knowing it wasn't PAL. Nevertheless, all the other aspects were as described.
Summary: I'm using this review to tell buyers the pros and cons to this game, e.g. Pros The capture technique has been expanded on from the previous ranger game and the new abilities such as ridding a pokemon provides entertainment. Cons This game is what I would call slow moving caused by the unnecessary long dialog scenes which should have been shortened so they don't take 5 + mins to get through, from I personal observation this is very maddening.
