Summary: Many game companies, during the past decade, have developed the perplexing habit of releasing super-deluxe-enhanced versions / director's cuts of popular titles after their initial releases, perhaps due to the allure of the almighty dollar or yen. Popular recipients of this treatment include recent Final Fantasies, the PlayStation 2 Kingdom Hearts titles, and Nintendo's beloved Pokémon franchise, created by developer and fellow Aspergerian Satoshi Tajiri.
Summary: Not much to dislike about this game. It has everything that was advertised about it including some additional features not in Diamond and Pearl such as the Distortion World and the Full Battle Frontier. The story is just a bit different from Diamond and Pearl given that there is the additional features, but that makes all the more interesting and exciting. As far as glitches go, I have yet to see any completely random glitches.
Summary: The game was fun to play and did everything I expected it to. BUT when i tried to turn it into gamestop to trade up for a 3ds, I was threatened to be arrested. Apparently, the game was a copy. Not an actual pokemon game but a downloaded version off the internet or something.

Summary: Out of all of the mainstream Pokemon games I have played, this is the weakest so far. The art for "new" Pokemon looks lame, the story is pretty much the same as the others (which is what I was expecting), your "rival" is an annoying spaz, the cities don't have an sense of uniqueness to them.
Summary: While not particularly my favorite generation of Pokemon games Platinum improved upon the game play of diamond and pearl. By adding the addition of the new legendary and various other story elements it accomplished what I feel the other two (pearl and diamond) could not. If you are new to the DS versions of Pokemon look forward to the inclusion of the touch screen on the bottom. It has some fun screen savers, clock and various other gadgets that help you in your journey.
