Not like traditional Pokemon

Summary: This Pokemon game is definitely different from the traditional, turn-to-turn battles. I think this takes away from the game because it gets boring after a while. In this game, you walk through maps or levels while fighting puny villains after meeting a friend Pokemon when you turn into one yourself. You can't REALLY feel the Pokemon essence either because capturing and evolving isn't the same.
Conclusion: You may have read my reveiw of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, if not how dare you, anyway on to Mystery Dungeon, you start off by answering a series of questions about different matters, such as being bullied, it then tells you what your personality is like and Pokemon you are most like, then lets you pick a Poke Partner. You are then transported into the Pokemon world, as a Pokemon (weird) and are found by your Poke Partner. Then the adventure begins.
