Pokémon Diamond/Pearl

Portable Review
7 June 2007
  • Excerpt: Originally, the crew here at Portablereview.com was going to do a chat review all together, but that turned out to be a little more painful than a car accident. Instead, Knives and I are bringing you a joint review from two minds that usually think entirely opposite one another. Enjoy! -Story- Knives: The story is too much like the other stories. It's the same story of a kid who wants to be the very best, and a team of grunts that want to take over the world.

Pokémon Pearl

Project COE
22 April 2007
  • Conclusion: Gamers will get a great value for Diamond/Pearl. There is simply no question about it. There is an immense wealth of things to see and do, and the main goal of just catching all of the Poke’mon will take a great deal of time. Besides that, there are tons of mini-games and other activities, and players will be trading and battling with other players for weeks, even months.

Official Nintendo Magazine

  • Excerpt: Eight years. That's how long we've been playing Pokémon games in the UK, ever since Pokémon Red and Blue on the original Game Boy arrived on our shores in October 1999. Now we're two handheld generations on and yet still we're more than happy to run about catching those beasties with Poké Balls.
