A fantastically made and surprisingly deep RPG for all ages. Perhaps the greatest of the Pokémon games to date. Read more
As lovely as it would be, good things don’t last. The Pokémon RPG series used to be something so phenomenal in its beginning. What really bothers me is that this series may continue on using the same method, creating the same experience every time, that slowly dulls, and people will still buy it. Read more
Having now pumped more than 15 hours into the game, I can assure anyone who hasn't got a copy of the game, my last question above is not at all true. In fact, Diamond has to be ranked as one of the best games I've played this year. Everything from the graphics, to the music, to the gameplay Nintendo has got virtually everything spot on. Read more
Originally, the crew here at Portablereview.com was going to do a chat review all together, but that turned out to be a little more painful than a car accident. Instead, Knives and I are bringing you a joint review from two minds that usually think entirely opposite one another. Enjoy! -Story- Knives: The story is too much like the other stories. It's the same story of a kid who wants to be the very best, and a team of grunts that want to take over the world. Read more
Even though D&P changes nothing regarding the franchise's core gameplay, it won't be long until things do begin to stir up. Whether it's going to be real time combat, or a 3D camera put in place, a major change is in due for Pokemon universe. If there isn't, Pokemon is going to eventually start tasting sour . Read more
Back in the late 90s, a little video game available in two flavours and known simply as Pocket Monsters took the video game world by surprise. Read more
Just like its predecessors, I am completely addicted to this new title. Having got the National Dex, I've already started on my Eeveelution [sic.] army, with the two new addictions, Glacion and Leafion, adding to a pretty solid team. The Battle Tower keeps the game alive with its online Wi-Fi tournaments, and Pokemon Battle Revolution is not long round the corner. I honesty can't fault this. I'm forcing myself to be subjective. Pokémon Diamond Review Pokémon Diamond is part of the famous Pokémon series which has been very successful and included those trading cards everyone used to collect, a rubbish TV show, movies and video games. I have only ever collected the cards for a while and played a couple of the games but I really like this game! Pokémon Diamond is almost identical to Pokémon Pearl apart from that certain Pokémon are only available on one or the other. Read more

Because there's new pokemon in them, of course. And regardless of the misgivings the game's mechanics may generate, the lure of new pokemon is just too irresistible. Read more
Pokémon is now in its 4th generation with the induction of Diamond and Pearl. The game basically puts the player in the shoes of a new kid, stumbling into his new job of Pokémon trainer. Sadly, the biggest change from the last game is the graphics. While each game has had a slight graphical increase, this is the first game to be "3D". Windmills have polygonal turbines instead of pixilated ones, and I walk around on a large bridge which is its own area, then below it. Read more
A fantastic game, it brought me back to the Pokemon franchise, if you've given up on pokemon or have never played I suggest you get this NOW! Read more

Both games are independent of each other but feature largely the same plot and, can be played separately. Certain Pokemon moves power changes based on time. It features more elaborate Pokemon Contests and players can use the accessories and dress up their Pokemon. The game also features new dual-type Pokemon, new/altered moves, and new special abilities add to the already deep strategy of Pokemon battling. It is developed in 3-D environments and updated graphics.

ok so once you finish the shinoh dex in pokemon pearl or diamond, you get the national dex. But then what do you do? where do you go to see all the national dex pokemon?
Answered by utsav007 2009-02-21:
You can't see all the pokemon in pearl...unfortunately. However, you need all the other gameboy pokemon games (pokemon fire red) and you migrate them into your game. You can do this by going to sandgem town, going as far south as you can, then going east. You should hit water, surf across it, and you will come to some land. Keep on going east, and you will find a building. In there, there are options where it will tell you to put your old gameboy games in, and basically bring the pokemon you have in that gameboy game back to your diamond/pearl game. Yes it's hard, but it's worth the

You can find the National Dex Pokémon in the Fight Area, Survival Area, Stark Mountain, Trophy Garden, Swarms (Go to the Sangem Town and talk to the girl in the house next to the beach, she will tell you where you can find Absol, Surskit and other details). Then you will need to use the Poke Radar to find the rare Pokémon.
