EA Playground (Wii)

The Review Busters
23 March 2009
  • Conclusion: EA Playground passes on being one of the biggest rip offs on the Wii right now. Why would you spend the same amount of money on this when you can own Super Mario Galaxy? Third party developers need to stop trying to make clones of Wii Sports, that game was for free and these companies are charging how much for theirs? You will find yourself having fun for three hours max with this game and in that time you can pretty much beat the entire game, it isn’t hard at all.

Have a Wii party playing 7 recess-type games.

Common Sense Media
19 May 2008
  • Summary: Parents need to know that this is a good party game for active kids of different ages to play together. While you can hit another child with a ball while playing dodgeball, or shoot a suction-cup arrow at another in a target-shooting game, no one is hurt. And younger children will like the single-player mode because in addition to playing the seven games, you also get to explore an expanding playground to collect marbles and stickers, take on dares, and play fun...

Video Game talk
30 October 2007
  • Excerpt: Developed by EA Canada, this NDS title is aimed at a younger generation of players and coexists with its Wii counterpart. Molded around the theme of a childs playground, EA Playground transports the player to a fictional school and its surrounding area for recess. Additionally, the player can travel to a couple nearby parks for more fun and games. The game is surprisingly light on presentation considering the source.

  • Pros: bekannte Spielprinzipien gut umgesetzt
  • Cons: zu kurz, teils unfair
