List All 4 PricesFamiliar games like dodgeball, paper airplanes, slot cars, and a new one called kick (it's like a vertical game of soccer shootout) are available from the beginning and all are solid and fun. My kids complained that they had to use the EA kid characters when they'd rather use their Mii's. but this isn't a Nintendo game, it's from EA, so that limit is understandable. If you're looking for solid minigames for kids and families, look no further than EA's solid new... Read more
EA Playground is the epitome of a "solid" experience. Nothing about it is amazing, but it's not bad…and it's certainly fun as long as you keep yourself in the mindset that these games skew a bit younger than your hardcore gamer. This collection could have had a better focus on multiplayer and utilize the DS system's Download Play option so more people could enjoy it, but as it stands this game's pretty enjoyable for the market it targets. As you can gather from those descriptions, EA Playground isn't a very deep game at all. It is 100 percent kid-friendly, and it better hope that kids like it because it sure won't be making many friends outside that demographic. As a minigame collection for young'uns, it's solid. Especially good is that the games are graded so you have to play the same kid several... Read more
Developed by EA Canada, this NDS title is aimed at a younger generation of players and coexists with its Wii counterpart. Molded around the theme of a child’s playground, EA Playground transports the player to a fictional school and it’s surrounding area for recess. Additionally, the player can travel to a couple nearby parks for more fun and games. The game is surprisingly light on presentation considering the source. EA games are typically filled with stylish,... Read more
This game is GREAT for both young and old. I love everything about it. For me, as an adult, collecting the marbles and buying stickers is lame. But this is a good lesson for the younger players in achievements. And my kids like collecting the stickers. The single player part is great fun and well designed for when you don't have a group to play. But if you have a group then the game just gets better. The movement in dodge ball is awkward but becomes learned quickly. I... Read more
