Summary: There are major paintings that you color in and get rated on. They are a bit hard to do on the DS screen. There are also lots of puzzle games, the more you play the more you unlock. I played it for a few days and it was fun now its just sitting in the case.
Summary: Anyone who is really good at Art will know that a Nintendo DS game will not be anything like the real thing. I agree with many other reviews that you'd be better off buying your own paint set and having a go.
Conclusion: As someone who likes to paint and draw, I really enjoy this game. Ive seen on a few websites that it has had poor reviews, I can understand why - if the buyer is not into detailed art painting - then this game isnt for them. I spent nearly an hour yesterday painting one picture.
Conclusion: So far i have painted 5 pictures and i am really enjoying it. To paint one picture will roughly take between 1-2 hours, but you can save your painting at any time. Its also fun to mix up colours and try to get them as close to the showing picture as possible.
Conclusion: Paint by ds is fantastic!!! As a budding artist I found this game interesting as I can paint in watercolours, oil, or pencil without the hassle of getting out my pad and paints, it is relaxing with the background music while painting.
Summary: I feel some of the reveiews here are rather harsh, however I concede that the game is a little tiresome and quite repetitive. The game is, as it freely admits, less of a paint package and more of a colouring-in game.
