Fun and entertaining

  • Summary: A fun and entertaining game. However, like the other reviewer, once you get stuck you can soon lose interest. Apart from that a good all rounder game that will keep you entertained for a while.

9 September 2009
  • Summary: I like the game very much, but at the moment I'm stuck and don't know whether I will be able to go any further, but once you get into the game it is very addictive, until you get stuck, but I shall keep trying.

Fun game for all ages, good use of the licence

julwhite, Dooyoo
10 July 2009
  • Excerpt: This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Open Season, published and developed by Ubisoft. The game is an arcade adventure game, based on the animated film of the same name. You start off playing the game in the countryside and you need to get back to the city, and you alternate control between Boog the bear and Elliot the deer. The game scrolls sideways and is partly an arcade game and partly a puzzle game.

A pleasant movie tie in that delivers. You don't see it often. One the fans will love.

  • Excerpt: We all have our favourite films and are usually happen when they come to the gaming work. Most don't make a great transition and aren't worth playing but this isn't one of those. Having Ubisoft was the developed game be confidence that it would be good as they have a history of producing other quality titles. The fans (myself included) loved it. So it is a side scrolling 3D platformer for most that also has some puzzles to solve along the way.

Open Season Rocks My Cotton Socks! =]

SophieandKeeley, Play.com
20 December 2007
  • Conclusion: Okay, so I got Open Season as a present and I LOVE it! Whoop whoop. Its so cool cos you have to play both characters at the same time! You can also interact with your mates =] Quite easy though - you get through the levels quite quickly - though it gets harder as it goes along.
