Summary: Easily the one of the best RPGs out there. Fantastic turn based combat, amazing graphics, amazing story, full size world map with 3d exploration, and even the dungeons have actual puzzles. Ive been waiting for a game to rival Golden Sun GBA for a long long time.
Summary: Nostalgia is meant to be a flashback to RPGs from the late 90s/early 00s. It has the same basic mechanics of games like Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger with the few modifications based around the limitations and advantages of the DS format.
Summary: This is a classic style RPG, but it should not be compared to other RPG's when rating it (the game was designed how it was on purpose and not to try to beat out other RPG's). Describing the story would be boring so I will just give a review based on the IGN rating system.
Summary: i was attracted to this game for two reasons: one, the rendered graphics (which are rare in a DS RPG), and two, the unique setting (a fictional turn-of-the-century world of steam power and airship exploaration).
Summary: I'm a big fan of RPGs, but Nostalgia isn't as fun as I thought it would be. The game doesn't really bring anything new or unique. The story seems like something that's been told before, and the battle system is nothing new.
Summary: I loved this game! If you're looking for an old fashioned level grinding, turn based RPG then I highly recommend this game. Don't let the childish look fool you, for the type of game it is, Nostalgia has a surprisingly deep storyline.
