Summary: This is a very cute game and it was fun while it lasted but I do NOT like the fact that you essentially have to play the game every single day in order to "take care" of your puppy. It's a game. That shouldn't be the case.
Summary: I picked up a copy of the Chihuahua version a few weeks ago. I own two dogs-- a Sheltie and Husky-- who both have different personalities and strong and weak points. My Husky will do the agility trail, but my Sheltie is too afraid of the hurdles to jump.
an ok game, but probably more suited to younger players.

Excerpt: As a fan of games like The Sims, I decided nintendogs would be a brilliant choice for my new DS. However I feel it has not really lived up to its expectations. The premise of the game is simple, you choose a puppy and train it up to compete in various competitions which you can win "money" prizes...
Summary: works on and off. Can't give it to daughter for xmas anymore. Bit disappointed but was bought used for only 10 bucks. Don't feel like bothering for a refund. Finally, the game itself is so-so- not that much you can do with the dogs.
