Too tough=no fun!
3 June 2011
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old. The graphics were cute, but we could not figure out the name teaching section. As soon as we thought we had it, it would say the dog has forgotten it's name and we had to start all over. It was super frustrating for my daughter and my husband and I couldn't get it right either. We ended up trading it in at Gamestop for Lovely Lisa which she liked much better. I would not recommend this game.
Summary: This game was purchased for 6 yr old grandson. I am pretty good on the computer, but have to say I found this game difficult to get going. Having enlisted the help of a savvy 15 yr old so did he. It looks like it could be fun but not easy to follow instructions we found. So up to a point a bit disappointing I'm afraid.
Excerpt: I could not wait to get this game! Seriously, I pestered my boyfriend...and his mother...and my mother for ages and eventually I was given it for Christmas! I hurriedly unwrapped the game and plugged it into my DS imagining all the fun I could have with my fun, furry (albeit fake) and loveable friend. After about 15 minutes of annoying my family with shouts of "Here boy! Here!", "Come on Poochy, pooooochy pooocy poos!" and "Oh! Who's a lovely doggy woggy then!
Excerpt: I love pets and i have always wanted another dog since my one died so i thought this pet could be my perfect companion. It did not quite live up to its expectations. Obviously i did not expect it to be like my dog but i di not expect it to be as it is. For example, you have to buy food from a shop from the main menu, you have to train your dog by calling its name and you really have to keep going over and over the same thing to try and get your dog to do it.
Conclusion: This is a really poor game. you do what you can and once you've done that theres nothing more no extras nothing. i would not advise this game if your normal but if you like dogs then buy it.
