Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2
12 November 2009
Excerpt: Naruto on the go... goes nowhere. Another day, another mediocre Naruto game . Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 is the latest in an ever expanding series of games featuring ninjas that dress like road cones and scream out exactly what they’re going to do before they actually do it.
Pros: Tons of stuff to unlock, Awful sound, Clumsy controls, Phoned in graphics, sound, and movesets
Excerpt: Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 excels over its console counterpart, the Clash of Ninja series, in a single facet: speed. The one-on-one fighting in this handheld version feels faster than on the Wii, which produces frantic multiplayer... even though it's still local multi-card only.
Excerpt: All the characters and environments in the game have been rendered in 3D. The look is comparable to other fighting games in the Naruto series, in that the character models have this sort of cel-shaded, animated type of look.
Review: Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 (Nintendo DS)
23 September 2009
Excerpt: This is now my fourth Naruto review that I’ve done for DHGF. The funny thing is that I still haven’t reviewed two games in the same series yet. I’ve done a fighter on the PSP, a RPG on the DS, an action game on the DS, and now a fighting game on the DS.
Conclusion: Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 features fast paced Naruto Shippuden 3D fighting action with the addition of an all-new Quest Mode, new characters, jutsu and a storyline based on the Naruto Shippuden animated series.
