Summary: This game provided me with hours of entertainment. It appealed to me because it is a shooter game. After playing it for so long, I am sure going to play the second one, and get the 3rd one for the 3DS. (Different name, same company made it.) In this one you can select from 4 different weapons to shoot with, and it takes a little thinking, but like every shooter it is a ton of fun. Not a bullet hell shooter, but fun for me either way.
Summary: This was a pretty fun game to play to pass time. The boss battles had a good enough challenge to it. The graphics were better than expected on the DS. I enjoyed this enough to put Nanostray 2 on my wish list, because the reviews say it is better than the first.
Summary: Sure the game is fun for the extremely short time it can provide new levels. I assumed there were 8 levels of 3 or 4 worlds each, but there are about 8 total worlds to beat and they are not that difficult. granted I played it on Normal setting (there are 3 difficulty setings, normal is the lowest) but that does not mean there are really 24 boards, it's still the same game.
Summary: Reiterating what has already been said for this game, it's got great graphics and it's lots of fun. Adding on, you've got four unique weapons, which each have higher output firing, so you really have eight weapons. Well, the side-blasting gun's greater blast isn't really a distinct weapon; it's just a boosted version of the original. Let's just say, then, that you have seven distinct weapons.
Summary: I've heard many great things about this old style shooter and couldn't wait to get my hands on it myself. Well I finally did and let me say it definitely is reminiscent of games like Axelay. The Graphics are top notch for being on the Nintendo DS and the levels are challenging. The only problem I have is how they've implemented the touch screen feature which seems awkward to say the least.
Summary: I recieved Nanostray today from amazon and have already beaten it. It is very short, I wish there were a few more levels to play. Graphically Nanostray is awesome, very impressive. The controls are decent however I wish they would have had a button utilized to select weapons as an alternative to only using the stylus.
