Summary: This game is super cute an if I had an original DS... I'd love it BUT I don't have one so I am having trouble with the pedometer.... Fortunately my brother has one but it needs a new charger... Why am I saying this? If you want this I think I would recommend it it's not that hard at all.... The step counting is so great! I'm still trying to figure out the food thing... I'm sure it'll get better. BUT! YOU NEED THAT NORMAL DS!
Summary: I bought this game for the obvious reason of losing weight (just 20 lbs.) but I noticed something that wasn't to my liking. This game gives you lots of options more for someone who goes out a lot. It probably won't work as well for someone who works at home all day. I'm positive, though, that someone can lose weight with this game. I haven't lost the 20 lbs. but that's my own fault. I might give this game another chance and update my review if I see any improvement.
Summary: I picked this game up because I'm (to be blunt) fat and am planning on taking a backpacking trip for several months next year, and needed something to get me off my duff! I was surprised at how addictive it was, even for a bargain basement game, and I have been working with it every day now for over a week. Three major things to note: 1.) This game is for people who are seriously overweight. Not just 10 pounds or so, I'm talking 100 pounds.
Summary: This is definitely not for people who are already pretty close to a healthy weight. This is PERFECT for beginners who have a long way to go. I've just started, but I think I've got a pretty good handle on the way this game will play out. As you enter your weight, the little stick figure will get bigger (if you're...bigger...). Mine started frowning and her stomach was starting to knock the scale over. It's a little sad to look at, but it's not untrue.
Summary: At first I thought the thing was crazy. There was a little stick figure guiding you through the process that never stopped talking. I have to say I didnt think it would work. If you are looking to lose weight right away do not buy the product. It is meant to change your habits and help you lose over time. It gets you off the couch and eating healthier. The pedometer that it came with helped a lot because it made me want to walk the recommended steps.
Summary: My Weight Loss Coach is, by and large, a fun, creative, friendly way to get - and stay - motivated to make your life a little healthier. Your guide is a smiling, animated stick figure, who's always quite liberal with the applause and encouragement. When you first fire up the program, it spends some time explaining how things work, and asking for things like your gender, birth date, height, and weight. The screen where you enter your weight made me laugh.
Summary: I've had this for a week so far and love it. I'm a bit of a tech geek -so I enjoy using it and it motivates me to keep "playing the game." This is definitely NOT for someone who already works out and is very knowledgeable about diet/exercise/nutrition. For someone like me, however, it has already made a huge difference. I am walking every day and keeping a close eye on what I eat.
Summary: I bought this and wondered if this was going to be easy to use. Diets are not easy and lets face it...unless exercising is your hobby...exercising pretty much $uck$!! LOL I had to get something that motivated me! I am pretty much 100 lbs. overweight, short, I'm 38 years old and this "game" is perfect for those that are overweight. And it IS easy to USE!
Summary: The Little stick figure as mentioned in other reviews is absolutely adorable! it was fun to get started with that cute lil thing. I rated this game 4 stars because there are somethings i think need to be improved, Overall the pros of this game far out weigh the cons. The Pros of this game is its fun, its easy to follow, it doesn't make you feel overwhelmed with the amount of steps you have to take.
