Summary: This game would probably be great for you if you already know the curriculum and are just trying to stay sharp, but as far as buying this as a tool to teach someone with, I wouldn't recommend it.
Summary: I bought this game to help me study for the SAT. It was helpful, and I used it quite a bit. You can choose from different topics within the reading/writing and math sections and quiz yourself on one topic, or you can take a practice SAT - it's good practice because you can't pause during the test-taking - and the game will score you. I am not great at math, so I was especially hoping this would help me improve in that area. I noticed a lot of issues with this game.
Summary: I played this game, and I like the fact that it helps you learn new words but to me it seems like I saw the new word once and that was it. It actually made me feel like a complete idiot not knowing most of the words, but that's what I get for ordering the Princeton one.

My kid is glued to his Nintendo DS, and getting him to study and prepare for his SAT was much easier when I said "play this game" instead of reading books. It appeals to his learning style, and worked out well.
