Summary: This game was a birthday present my son first pet. If he could take care if his chimp we would concern buying him a dog. After reading the review I though his chimp would turn on him and he would have to recreate a new one but it never happen. We didn't have to buy a dog because he loves his chimp and he can take him on road trips. I love this game.
Summary: This game gives the impression that chimps make good pets, and nothing is further from the truth. Chimpanzees are wild animals, and while they are like human babies when they are small, they grow quickly and become much stronger than a human. Chimps raised with humans cannot interact with other chimps properly, they do not learn the social protocol.
Summary: i love this game considering i love chimps and monkeys i love how you can feed it and clean it and unlock new stuff and play games with it and it is just awsome i love it you so should get it oh ya i forgot to say hw cut the chimp is his eyes are yellow and my friends monkey does not like grapes but this game is the bomb and it is for boy' s and girl's GO MY MY CHIMP!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: This game was purchased for my 9 year old daughter and she loves to play it. She enjoys teaching and playing with her chimp. She likes being able to talk and interact with her pet chimp. We recommend this game to anyone who loves animals and/or interactive games.
Summary: Didn't see many reviews for this product, so I went ahead and purchased it and hoped for the best. It's quite cute indeed...the graphics may not be on a par with some standards, but the chimp was definitely realistic, though not quite as much as it could be. There is some jerkiness in the arms especially, in certain postures, but overall it's quite a realistic likeness.
Summary: My daughter loves monkeys and got this game for her birthday. She is 7. She loves it 99% of the time. Right now she is in tears (AGAIN!) because her monkey "despises" her. For no reason. She hadn't played it in a while and when she began playing it, it tells her that it despises her and it will not come to her, play, or do anything. I think it is pretty ridiculous for a game to tell a child that it despises them.
Best Virtual Chimp Game I've ever played... ok, the ONLY one, but....

Summary: While looking for a 'virtual pet' game for my DS, I ran across 'My Pet Chimp' and decided to give it a try. If you're familiar with the "NintenDogs" games, this is similar.. but not quite as involved. You begin by deciding to adopt either a baby chimp or an adult chimp. There is a 'Zoo Keeper' lady available to give you basic care info based on your choice. I (of course) chose the baby chimp.
