Summary: My daughter is nearly 9 but is obsessed with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Even though that generation of MLP doesn't have a game, she still asked for this one. If you have a young child, I'm sure they would get more wear out of it than my daughter did. In my opinion, it's a waste of money for something she only got 20 to 30 minutes out of. That's how long it took her to get through everything, minigames included.
Summary: A basic dust collector after 2 weeks. Not a great game, felt I wasted $30. Gets boring fast, no challenge to the games once you master them. Littlest pet shop is WAY better for a 6 year old. Too much advanced reading, would have been better to voice over the areas that need to be read....that way at least they learn instead of interrupting me every 5 mins to help read!
Pros: graphics are decent
Cons: too repetative...makes you keep going back and forth on the same path games are boring
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old. While it is an enjoyable game for children that age, there is almost nothing to it. She got through the game start to credits in WELL under a half hour. It would be a good game if there were more levels or chapters but once you find your 20 presents the game is over. I can see her playing this MAYBE once again before she becomes bored and the game gets put away for good.
