Summary: PLEASE NOTE: THE PRODUCT PAGE FOR THIS GAME IS ACTUALLY SHOWING YOU THE GAME MONOPLOY STREETS FOR THE DS AND NOT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT DETAILS OF THIS GAME ITSELF!!! Monopoly Ds is the regular Classic Monoply just like all the previous Monopoly games. There is Nothing 3D in this game. The product details is actually referring to the DS game "Monopoly Streets" and NOT the DS game "Monopoly" that it's supposed to be reviewing, and I need everyone to be aware of this before...
Summary: After reading a few other reviews here, all I can say is of coarse it's not going to be as good as an online game, as they have much more screen area to place things compared to the DS touch screens, but overall, it's not a bad game, especially compared to other hand held ports of this game, or even older console versions.
Summary: I thought that the game was going to be like it is in the pictures, more of like a 3d type game. Where you go down the street and see all the houses and things. It is actually just the board as if you were playing it at home. It's nice to be able to change the settings on how you want to play and if you hold the stylus on the screen while the pieces are moving they will go faster so the game doesn't last as long.
Summary: Good game, however if playing against the DS, it doesn't put up much of a challenge at times when it comes to trading and lets you buy properties with ease, that's even when set at the hardest level lol! Otherwise, fun game! Also a thumbs up that you can save a game without starting all over again!
Summary: I bought this game because my little bro loves playing monopoly on my iphone but it runs down the power and i think hes gunna break it! So I bought him this for Christmas for i think £17 compared to £0.59 for ipod and the ipod version is better, much better. Very disappointed bad graphics and poor game play and just disappointed my bro refused to play it after trying it twice!!!
Summary: Have had this game a few days now and played five games against the computer. It is quite entertaining and is true to the original monopoly - you can change the rules before starting if you wish. The big gripe I have with it is that (on the original ds - haven't tried it on a dsi) it's impossible to read the names of the streets.
