Addictive and innovative

Summary: One of the best games i've played on the DS, if you have one you should get this game. This is a strategic, turn based RPG. The story is a pretty standard fantasy fare, but you're not playing for the plot but for the best and most innovative gameplay i've experienced on the DS. I'll try to explain it in this review as it really is the core of this game. The graphics are fine, not spectacular but serviceable, although the art in the cut scenes are very sylish.
Fantastic game - beautiful, challenging & underrated

Summary: This game is an absolute gem. A clever mix of strategy, puzzle and RPG genres with beautiful SNES-era sprite graphics. Massive main game (easily 25 hours+) and local multiplayer mean this is a game you won't be putting down in a hurry. Word of warning though - although the graphics look inviting, the difficulty level means this really isn't a game for younger kids. It's a real shame that this brilliant game hasn't been the runaway success thsat it deservs to be.
Summary: I am a huge fan of the Might & Magic series, and this is up there with the best of them. It's true it's a bit cartoony and there's not much freedom in the campaign, and yes it doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's so additive to play. My only wish is they had beefed up the multiplayer side if the game. It's a Puzzle game first and a RPG second and personally I think its one of the best games I have played for a very long time.
Summary: This game is great and so addictive. Even after having completed it, I would start over again. I love the various possibilities of attack/ defend during a combat and the puzzles. You get to play 5 characters and can develop them, as well as their armies. I must admit I was surprised at how entertaining this game is despite its hybrid nature, i.e. you have to follow a story mode. You have a bit of flexibility which I suppose makes a big difference.
Summary: Might and Magic Clash of Heroes is the perfect hand held game. It doesn't try to be overly realistic and so makes the best use of the DS's graphical capabilities. That isn't to say the graphics are bad, quite the opposite. The cartoon style and the still image cut scenes make this a very aesthetically pleasing title. 8/10 The most important part of this game is the game play.
Summary: This game is not a bejeweled or puzzle Quest clone. It's a completely different mechanic. It's also excellent fun, full of interesting scenarios and special fights that mix up the rules of the game. The characters and story were also very well portrayed despite the visual nonresistances that come with what you see happening in and out of the battles.
Summary: Now this game is addictive. I started it a week ago and am loving it! It takes a couple of hours to get into the game, to understand the mechanic. If you've played a game like Connect 4 or 'noughts and crosses', you can get to grips with this game - it's not difficult to understand. However, there are lots of subtle intricacies to master. The game has an appropriate grade of difficulty. If you want to take on the more challenging matches, you can do that immediately.
Summary: Being a big HOMM-fan, I was very sceptical to this game, and decided not to buy it, until I read the reviews on this site. I got it, and has used any spare minute since playing. It's somewhat different from HOMM, but like enough. If you know Battle for Wesnoth, there are similarities as well, I'd say. The battling is different, being solved puzzle-wise, with very good variations and abilities available. Recommendable!
