Summary: I started off playing this game just expecting fun and silliness. That lasted about five minutes. Then it just got boring and repetitious. This game basically involves getting money by repeating the same few jobs available, and spending it on crap you don't want to impress people that don't really have any contribution to the story. Don't waste your time trying to impress random people you come across in the game. They don't matter, and they are all the same.
Summary: I'm 18 and played this years ago when I was a younger teen and really really loved it and how crazy it sounds, I'm just now writing a review about it! I loved every feature about it. But one thing fell flat for me... the length of the game! I finished this game quickly! Even though you finish the game, it has continuous play, but it just started getting boring, since there were no more goals and tasks to complete.
Summary: I thought this would be a good game from the description but when I started playing it I could tell the graphics could have been a little better. It gets boring fast and the interaction between characters isn't that good.
Summary: It was fun enough (as said before not like the sims, which I am an avid fan of) but I finished it in two hours at work. Once you are down with the story it is free play (not like the sims) and it is quite boring. All in all save your money and buy this game used or when the price drops if you even bother at all.
Summary: I was excited to play Miami Nights DS when I bought it but after playing it for about 5 minutes, my excitement turned to disappointment. The game's description makes it seem as if the gameplay is similar to the Sims but in reality, the gameplay is nothing like it. Sure, you can choose out of three careers (singer, actor, model) but the story is pretty much the same for both genders and for all careers. On top of that, I finished the game within 2 hours of starting it.
Summary: This game I think would appeal to anyone who loved the game "The Sims" on DS and GBA. It appeared to be an exact clone which is not a bad thing. However, it is a lot different than I origonally thought it was going to be. I was thinking it would be more like an RPG. What the game does have is interesting people to meet and fun minigames to play. The minigames are a challenge but are fun with a good deal of variety too.
Excerpt: This game was one of the first games that I bought for the nintendo ds. At first I thought it looked like a great game, but I was disappointed with the content of the game in it's later stages. You start off by choosing your ambition, either a model, singer or an actor, you then choose your gender and design a person. Once the game starts you are given a mobile phone so that your friends can keep in touch with you.
Excerpt: ****Miami nights-singles in the city**** This is one of the first games i bought for the ds-it was cheap and i thought it would be just like the sims. At the beginning of the game you pick whether you want to be a model, singer or actor. The game starts with you famous and living the dream but then you wake up and find you live in a dump of an apartment and are unemployed.A good thing about this game is that you can choose whether or not you want to be male or female...
Excerpt: This game sounds great. You start out choosing what you ambition is to be. You can either be a model, actor or singer and the aim of the game is to live your dream by meeting the right people, doing the right things and making the right friends. You can choose either to be male or female (which beats other games out there where you can only be male) and you get to choose your hairstyle, hair colour, clothes and how fat / thin you want to be.
Excerpt: Miami Nights - Singles In The City is a game sort of like The Sims for the Nintendo DS. Sort of a life simulation / RPG. You start of as either one of three professions (singer, actor or model). It has some interesting characters in it, which you can chat, flirt with, make friends etc. You can bond with a character really fast by interacting with them. You can talk to them, flirt with them, share a gift or "assault" them.
