Miami Law is a one player action adventure game that evolves around a storyline which involves a shadowy terrorist conspiracy, shoot-outs in abandoned warehouses and crime scene detective work. The game lets players choose to play two different protagonists and experience the story different points of view – either as Law Martin from the Miami PD or Sara Starling from the FBI. Different challenges await the gamer, depending on which character they pick. Sara’s gameplay involves puzzles and mystery solving element, while playing as Law thrusts the player into the action, involving car chases and shoot-outs with the bad guys. Miami Law also features unlockable games and sequences within the game that players will be awarded with a successful completion. The game has an Entertainment Software Rating Board, ESRB: T (Teen) rating for blood, drug reference, mild language and violence.

Miami Law is an action adventure game developed Hudson Soft. Co. Ltd., and published by Hudson Entertainment, Inc. for the Nintendo DS game console, and features a story line that unfolds through graphic adventure with text and still art scrolling through. The game also features action event sequences. The plot in the game involves a terrorist conspiracy where players follow two playable characters: Law Martin of the Miami PD where gamers must survive event sequences such as shoot-outs in abandoned warehouses, chasing fleeing criminals down the freeway, and disarming bombs mere seconds from explosion; and the brainy Sara Sterling of the FBI, involving event sequences like finding vital fingerprints, analyzing mysterious evidence, as well as performing video surveillance in order to save her partner’s life. The story line branches off at key moments in-game depending on which character players choose to control. Gamers can also change between the characters at numerous points in the story. The DS allows user to tap on the bad guys to shoot at them while players either tap or use the D-pad to steer cars during car chases. The game also features unlockable extras that will allow gamers to unlock several additional games (such as Texas Hold 'Em and Sudoku) and event sequences once the game has been completed. Miami Law also features over 50 event sequences (mini-games). Miami Law is localized by Victor Ireland’s Gaijinworks and features music composed exclusively by Miami Beat Wave for the game.
