Pleasant change

Skia, Amazon

  • Summary: As soon as this game arrived I placed it into my DS and began the adventure. I have heard mixed reviews about this game, some reviews said that this game would not be good because it is not a "traditional" MegaMan game; while other reviews are nothing but positive. I would agree that this game is not like a "traditional" MegaMan game, but it was never supposed to be. Simply put, this game is supposed to follow the battle network series, which it was to a certain extent.

a really fun game with a chilled story line

N. Theis "totes animegamer", Amazon
11 October 2012
  • Summary: i love starforce and battle network series. the music is really catchy. and the story is not really there, but thats kinda good. its a more chilled story, in a good way. so u never know wut will happen next. the story does kick off a little later, and i couldnt put my ds down. 1 problem is the game is really hard. its not a kids game. i died a lot in just the begining off the game.

A humble start for this series

PFC Boom, Amazon
7 February 2012
  • Summary: Mega Man Star Force is the spiritual successor to the Mega Man Battle Network series for the Game Boy Advance. If you played and enjoyed Battle Network, you will like Star Force. Simple enough. Yes, there are quite a few things that are different, but fundamentally it's the same. The characters are still pixelated sprites, the art style is the same, the music style is the same. If you like Battle Network, you will like Star Force. Buy it.

NOT Battle Network, but has similar elements

Johnathan King, Amazon
26 September 2009
  • Summary: When we see this game, most will think, "oh, Battle Network with 3d battles" WRONG. (though I did love BN) I too thought this, until I decided I needed a new Mega Man game. saw this, picked it up, and started playing. Immediatly I noticed a difference, with been able to name Geo Stelar whatever you want (censoring is on people) both first and last name, Geo's personality contrasting Lan's which in my opinion was an improvement and I found Lan to be quite thick headed and...

Battle Network 7

E. David Swan, Amazon
16 August 2007
  • Summary: As a longtime fan of the Battle Network series and owner of all six previous games (which I played the heck out of) I feel fairly qualified in commenting on the latest evolution in the series. The name has changed and all the characters have been replaced but it's clearly Battle Network and it would be absurd not to compare it to the previous iterations. Let me start by saying that my initial reaction was concern.
