Summary: I was not really happy with the fact that all the controlling of Mario's etc., must be done with the stylus and the touch screen. I prefer the action and control of the direction buttons, etc. The game seems slow and very repetitive so far. I can see myself getting bored already. Hope it picks up some. I will keep the game as it serves as a diversion for idle hands.
Summary: This game is okay but is really overrated. anyway, the story is that donkey kong comes and wants a toy that looks like something from super monkey ball, mario refuses to give him the toy because they are sold out, donkey kong then gets mad and kidnaps Pauline and it's up to mario and his minis to save her.
Summary: I wish I could say that I love this game, but I can't. However much I love mario and all of the genre generally, this game is simply not my cup of tea. I like Mario to dash around, bashing mushrooms and collecting coins. Not sending out a mini version to get to a door. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking the game itself. The graphics are excellent and gameplay is very smooth. I love puzzles, just not this type of puzzle I've found out.
Excerpt: Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! Is a puzzle game that was released for the Nintendo DS in 2011 and is the newest version as the Mario Vs Donkey Kong games which have been quite popular. In this game, the aim is to guide 3 Mario wind ups though Mazes and Obstacles without letting him die, this sounds easy however the Mario’s do not ever stop and it can be hard keeping track of all your wind up dolls.
Excerpt: The Plot Mario has opened up his new theme park: Mini-land and the first 100 visitors get a mini Pauline Robot, but when Donkey Kony tries to get in hes the 101st custumer (typical) and this makes him absolutly, blooming mad! So mad infact the he kidnapps the real Pauline instead! Its then up to you to stop him a rescue the damsel in distress by solving puzzles and traveling through different worlds. (which is pretty much what you do in most of the mario games.
Pros: Makes you think, Loads of puzzles to complete, design own levels, online ability
Cons: graphics aren't brilliant, very quick to complete on easy extremly hard on hard, no multiplayer
Summary: Managed to complete the game in about 2 months. Found the game reasonably addictive. Since completing the game, I no longer play it. Preferred this game to Football Academy and Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing. However, this game was not as good as Fifa 11, Mario & Luigi (Bowsers inside Story), and Mario Kart DS. Game progress gets saved after completing each stage. Multiple users can saved. It's a good game, and was worth buying.
