And fun and original RPG
14 March 2014
Summary: I had some issues with the parts when the game requires use of the DS mic but other than than I have enjoyed this game very much. I have always loved the feeling of freedom this game gives as compared to most other RPGs, which can feel stilted at times.
Summary: I got this game for my son, but honestly I play it most of the time. He prefers to just watch me go back and forth, switching between the bros and Bowser himself. It seriously has every element he enjoys. If he's not going on about Bowser he's going on about the bros. I think he's slightly biased towards Luigi which is why he also pushed for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. In any case, the game is rather expansive.
Summary: I think this game is great. it is refreshing to have an RPG where you dodge attacks instead of just standing around getting hit. The only thing I don't like are some of the mini games. Some of them are not that much fun. But maybe it is just me.
Summary: My son loves Mario so I thought this would be a hit! He is 6 yrs. old and reading at an average level. He does pretty good with that. On different levels he does get stuck on things here and there asking me to help. Me, not knowing the game, can't. I will be reading the manual soon!!! I do recommend this game as it is Mario and fun!!
Summary: I just finished this game and I think this might be one of my favorite Mario Games (I have to say I haven't played any others on the Nintendo DS platform. I do however like Super Mario Galaxy for Wii and Super Mario for Nintendo 64). I would definitely give this a 4.5 but because we can't give half ratings, it has been reduced to a 4. Please don't think that it's a bad game because I didn't give it a 5 star.
Summary: I bought this game primarily for my 8 year old son (and a bit for his 5 year old sister). As it can only save information for only two players at once, only me and my son have played. We have both been extremely impressed. He says it is definitely his favourite DS game (we have super mario brothers, as well as bunch of other non-Mario titles). He finds it interesting, never boring, challenging and a lot of fun.
Summary: I've been playing the Mario and Luigi games since the first one came out on the Game Boy Advance. This game really just can't compare to the original. It looks nice and the music is nice, but for me that just doesn't matter if the gameplay is repetitive. You'll find yourself doing the same puzzles over and over again and it gets old fast. The story isn't as good as it was in Super Star Saga either, but it is still one of the high points of this game.
