A good start, but this game is still minor league.

  • Summary: Parents need to know that while this E-rated game can be fun, it can also be frustrating for kids. The fun part comes with the comic book-like graphics and the over-the-top arcade play. The frustration comes with the touchscreen controls which are difficult to master -- especially pitching and fielding.

Operation Sports

  • Excerpt: uses a distinct art style to plainly show that it isn’t a baseball simulation. In fact, I believe in my preview I said the art style was “acid induced madness” which is actually a compliment.
  • Pros: Art Style is Fantastic., Pitching Duels are when the game shines., Powerups add a nice strategy factor.
  • Cons: Why is it so hard to hit?, Fielding controls make your hands hate you., Rosters and batting orders are out of whack.
