Excerpt: It’s very rare that I wonder how a company can manage to get what could have been quite a nifty, good game so, so badly wrong that it ends up being a complete chore that will quickly be set aside in favour of something more entertaining. Well that’s what happened here.
Summary: This has to be the WORST RPG I have ever played. If you are thinking of buying it DON'T, it is a waste of money. In most RPGs one of the main points is exploring everything. In this game you can't even explore the towns as much as you would like.
Summary: This is the BEST GAME I have ever played. I am a fan of rpg type games and this is a breath of fresh air. I have become sick of random battles as I move about and this game has a nice touch where there isn't any. Instead there are big grey monsters moving about the landscape as you travel about.
Summary: Having read reviews on this site I was seriously put off, only just buying the title recently (18/08/07). This was mainly because I was bored and found it in a sale at a local store, and must say I was pleasantly surprised and think other reviews do it a huge injustice.
Summary: As it is the first rpg on the DS I suppose it has a lot to live up to. I was a big fan of both Zelda and Alundra and now I am a fan of this game to. Its somewhat different, you have cards that you can use, very handy in battles.
Summary: When I first heard of this game I thought "Oh no. Not another Lunar about some pathetic Goddess and dragons. Please. who keeps buying this game." (The only Lunars I liked are Lunar eternal Blue for the PS1 and magic school for the gamegear). However when I played this I was impressed.
Summary: This is the ds' first real rpg and as a fan of the genre i had to have it. Unfortunately its a piece of tripe. The dialogue is poor and the story is the usual fare. You play Jian who as it happens is the only one who can unite the beastmen and humans and save the world etc.
Summary: I am literally here right now to write this review. I am here to tilt the game's reputation to the positive rather than the negative side of things. It's actually kind of upsetting how badly reviewed this game is. But I will be short and true here.
