Excerpt: It’s very rare that I wonder how a company can manage to get what could have been quite a nifty, good game so, so badly wrong that it ends up being a complete chore that will quickly be set aside in favour of something more entertaining. Well that’s what happened here. Lunar Genesis is what is called the first traditional RPG title released on the DS system, and was also the first original Lunar Genesis title in ten years when it was released in Europe in 2006.
Conclusion: I picked this up as a preowned cos i liked the pretty pictures on the cover. I usually like games i can just pick up and play which you sort of can with this. It frustrated me at first cos i didnt really know what was going on (no tutorial), but if you read the (lengthy) manual you'll get so much more out of it. It's really well thought out and very addictive - i've been playing it for about 40hrs and still have a way to go.
Conclusion: I brought this game about three weeks ago and i still playing and enjoying every minute. I don't play often but when i do i love it! The graphics are really good, the concept ingenious and the characters life-like. The bad points ie losing hp when you run and sometimes not being able to find the items/monsters fast enough are oversadowed by the good incorporation of the touch screen, and the story. Well worth any amount of money!
Conclusion: this game is okay,as a fan of rpgs it didnt really live up to my standards.it gets a bit annoying as you lose 1 hp every step you take so you have to keep healing your main character or using items.but its okay
