Summary: This RPG was one of the many games that were on my "wish list" for quite some time. The moment that I started playing this game, I simply couldn't put it down! I've only logged in a few hours so far, so I can't wait to finish the rest of it! Luminous Arc 1 & 2 are another take on a turn-based, chess-piece game -- it's you against your foes.
Summary: This series somehow ended up becoming one of my favorites. I picked up the first one just looking for a decent srpg and got sucked in. I am just about ready to 100 percent the game having gone through and beaten all the side quests and I'm right around 40 hours. For a DS game the graphics are bright and colorful, limited animation sequences are top notch, sound is good quality the writing is funny and entertaining.
Summary: This is one of my favorite games on the Nintendo DS!! Given I'm a girl and not really interested in the 'flirting' component that goes with this game, but it's kinda enjoyable too (you have no choice but to play from the standpoint of Roland). It makes more sense to look up what I'm meaning online if you have questions on that.
Summary: Before getting this one i bought and played the first game and thought the first one was alright. I was already familiar with the grid based turn based fighting system since playing similar games such as advance wars, disgaea and fire emblem. This game IMO, has a much better cast of characters and the plot doesn't feel there are as many "I told you so" moments like the first one had.
Summary: The game is an improvement over the first game, better control, storyline, game play, basically everything is better. I would pick it up if you are in a rpg playing mood. Voicing is included too.
Hilarious and Addicting--with a not overly complex system and fun tactical gameplay!

Summary: Perspective: I am a 40+ year old mom. I play video games to relax. Generally I prefer RPG and puzzle games. I do like tactical or strategy RPG if the pacing is good. I loved this game! I thought the story was interesting. True it was kind of the same old-same old but that's o.k. as I like it! The characters are funny and sometimes over the top hilarious. Seriously. I laugh as much at some of the Luminous Arc games than I did when watching Friends and I love that TV show!

Summary: First of all, I havent played the first Luminous Arc game. I saw this at GameStop and got it because it came with a soundtrack and because it was an anime-style RPG. Luminous Arc 2 has a great storyline to it. Never too boring, and plenty of shocking truths I never saw coming. The voice acting is actually good - they didnt even cut out the cuss words.
Summary: It is games like this one that makes you smile when you think of the "Golden Age" of RPG games, which were designed in the semi-cute "anime-style". The newer RPGs that often are relased in the USA are "Realistic" RPGs in terms of graphics. But what most US execs of RPG companies seem to keep forgetting, is that the most valuable and most sought-after games follow the anime-style, which Luminous Arc 2 seems to beautifully cover.
