Summary: I bought this game for my 3 and 5 year old granddaughters. They both love it. Even though the 3 year old can't read, she does follow directions. She has also figured out that there is a time limit on the games so she has to pay attention. Both girls love making money to go shopping.
Summary: We are new to DSi and our 8 year old had quite a problem with some other games that were just too difficult to figure out (for someone who has never played video games before). This one has been perfect and she has played with it for hours. While it is not difficult, it is not a "baby" game either. There is dress-up and fashion play, but there is also baby-sitting, animal care, cooking and a "job center". Very well-balanced. We would highly recommend.
Summary: I bought this for my five year old daughter and she loves it! She isn't a strong reader yet so I was looking for something that wasn't going to be too difficult. She is able to easily play this game by herself. She espcially enjoys putting her own design on the clothes. Perfect game for a younger child who is truly a girly girl.
Summary: My daughter is 6 years old and has played this game non-stop since we got it for her. There is minimal reading, only instructions on how to play mini-games and once they figure it out, they don't need to read instructions anymore. :) I would highly recommend this for a girl under 10. It was easy for her to play, but challenging enough to keep her interested. You can adjust the level from easy-normal-hard. She loves it!!
Summary: My daughter LOVES this game, mainly because you get to go shopping, change clothes, do chores and jobs, and all of these things she loves to do. You gain money by doing jobs, it is also educational in a sense. This is a very cute and organized game for girls. Must buy!!!!
Summary: My 7 year old got Lovely Lisa a few years ago and instantly loved it. When we saw Lovely Lisa & Friends, she used her own money to 'upgrade' to the latest version. She likes this one just as much as the original and says that there are new mini-games. Minimal reading is required so it's great for younger DS players and there's nothing violent or mean about this game.
