Lost Magic

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: There are games that shock the RPG Master, and Lost Magic is one such game. The level of the occult in this game is alarming. Players must draw occultic symbols in order to perform magical defenses, and attacks. The main character is the son of a warlock, and is being raised by a witch. The witch in this game that is “bad” is trying to become a god by collecting these magical wands.

Lost Magic

The 8th Circuit

  • Excerpt: Can You Feel the Magic? Back in 2004, the Nintendo DS was met with some mixed results. Generally positive, many, such as myself, were skeptical of how the touch screen, and later online, would be implemented. Flash forward two years, and the DS is well on in its life, and has claimed fair amount of success. Looking to capitalize on that success, an interesting title named Lost Magic emerged. But would it be met with rave reviews like the DS?

  • Excerpt: One day, while examining the shelves of a local sell-all conglomerate superstore, my eyes came across LostMagic for Nintendo's DS. The cover art looked good, and I had heard positive things about the title overall. Though I am not quick to shell out cash for games, I went against my better judgment and whipped out the debit card. It was the best irresponsible decision I've made in years.

LOSTMAGIC

The Gamers Temple
16 January 2007
  • Excerpt: At first glance LOSTMAGIC would appear to be an RPG adventure. However, it’s really a real-time strategy game as you don’t do anything between the battles other than read the lines of conversation between characters that serve as the game’s story. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, those of you searching for a new RPG for their DS can move on while the rest of you intrigued by LOSTMAGIC’s rather unique style of play can read on… LOSTMAGIC follows the adventures of...

Lost Magic – Review

  • Excerpt: My favorite videogames are the ones most people don't think to make. I'll spend money just for the chance to run a farm, to whack frogs into holes with golf clubs, to rain destruction upon my enemies using calligraphy. Heck—innovation-lust is the reason I bought a Nintendo DS in the first place. But after playing Lost Magic , I have to wonder: is innovation enough to make a game any good?
