Summary: I had watched my friend play this, and got interested, so I decided to buy it myself. Let me just say that I am throughly pleased, and this is coming from an avid gamer. At first, I was only interested in the artwork, because of my love for anime and the like. That was what got me to buy it. However, as I am playing, I find that I am enjoying it quite a lot more than I thought I would. It's a rather difficult game, especially when you first start out.
Summary: This is the first time I truly want to write a review for a game. This game ROCKS. However, I did feel it is very hard in the beginning, so that I asked my boyfriend to help me a bit. He is a quite experienced gamer with PSP. When he started to play this game, he STICK with it. From the moment I give him my Nintendo DS lite and the game, I feel like it is not my property anymore:) He just cannot put it down. How interesting is that.
Summary: I bought this game, used, for my daughter and decided to pop it into my DS to take a look at it before I gave it to her. It's a good thing I didn't tell her that I had received it yet, because I can't stop playing! Wonderful use of the DS capabilities - like using the microphone to blow on your fire to get it going, and using the touch screen to search on the ground for food, spices, fishing bait, etc!
Summary: I have only had my DS a few months now and the reason I bought a DS is so I could purchase Lost in Blue. But finding this game was like a needle in a haystack! It is sooo hard to find! Geewhiz! Well after about 2 months of keeping tabs on my local gamestores, a preowned copy came in yesterday. Needless to say I swiped it up quick! lol When I saw it sitting there on the store shelf, I got so excited I felt like a kid again. =) I was like "Ah!!! I found it!!
Summary: Posted Summer 2006: I can understand why this game has mixed reviews. It's not for everyone. I myself didn't think I'd get this game because of the overall poor reviews but, fortunately, I bought it. It was definitely for me. My main reason for playing this game is for the cute boy-girl relationship. Goes back to the basic where the boy hunts and gathers and the girl cooks. It's that simplicity of life that is very appealing. What more do we want?
Summary: Imagine, if you will, an island out in the middle of the ocean filled with lush jungles, sandy beaches, and mystery around every corner. Lost In Blue for the nintendo ds takes all of the imagining part out of it, and is one of the only games I've played that actually immerses you into a whole new world.
Summary: Ok, i've had this game for over a YEAR now and i still play it. its so addictive and fun if you like these type of games. i finished the boy version and am in the girl version, and after that there is boss version!!! i just love the whole nature and survival thing, and this is like over 30 hours of gameplay! even more depending on how fast you are, but i like taking it slow and enjoying the whole experience. Enjoy!
Summary: I love all games that let you care for people on an island or some other place, so this was the PERFECT game for me. Two people, Kieth(you) and Skye (the girl) are shipwrecked on this island in the middle of the ocean. You must, must, survive. You make fire makers, traps, arrows, bows, spears, fishing rods, and sharper rocks. I'm on day 166, and I have absolutely no desire to make them escape. I will tell you the best ways to, though.
