enjoyable but have minor flaws

skatermonk "AKH", Amazon
16 September 2006
  • Summary: if u don't know the feel of this game, think castaway meets havest moon. in the begining u can gather coconuts, seaweed, clams to survive. later on you have the ability to fish, hunt, and explore the island that u are stuck on. sounds pretty mundane but just like watering your plants everyday in havest moon, you'll find it enjoyable. near the end u can explore ruins and solve puzzles.

Great Premise, Weak on Some Minor Things

J. Nichols, Amazon
21 July 2006
  • Summary: I descibed this game to someone as like playing The Blue Lagoon in a video game. You're shipwrecked on an island and you have to survive. You have to find food, water, and shelter and eventually try to make your way off the island. There is some level of tedium involved because you have to go searching for food pretty much every day, but there's always new stuff to discover and explore. I really do enjoy this game.

Fun game despite skye (spolier alert)

Harley Quinn "Broken Halo", Amazon
1 January 2006
  • Summary: This is a very good game but it could have been a great game if it weren't for a few things. My main problem is with Skye. Sometimes you are on the other side of the island but have to come all the way back to give her food and water because she hasn't eaten or drinked anything since you left even though there is a ton of food and water in the cave and you told her you would be gone for a few days.

Interesting but a little difficult for kids

Irene Erlin, Amazon
12 December 2005
  • Summary: I bought this game for my 9 years old daughter. At first she loved this game since the adventure was similar to Harvest Moon in Gameboy Advance. But after she played for a while, it is getting more difficult and the main role died easily of hunger, tired etc. So if you don't save your game oftenly, be prepared to start all over again, which is become boring and tiring after quite some time.

Lost in Blue

Kate Paul, Amazon
20 November 2005
  • Summary: Lets talk LOST......I buy this game for me, so I can disappear and play something that is not a shoot em up or collect battle cards....and my 12 year old steals it and has been playing it ever since....and he has those shootem up games for his DS. Anyway its a really fun game once you figure out your momentum of keeping yourself and Skye feed, not thirsty or tired. You have to use whats there to do stuff. Its kind of Lost meets Survivor.

A Refreshing, addictive experience

Eternalthree, Amazon
5 October 2005
  • Summary: This game is very much a cross between the hit tv show "Lost" and "The Sims". While i will admit that there is a significant learning curve in the beginning of the game, it gets relatively easier as you progress. It is highly addictive as I believe i am about half done with the game and I've had this game for about 2 weeks now. This is a very good addition to an NDS library.

A Great Adventure

Matthew Marko "Matthew Marko", Amazon
28 September 2005
  • Summary: Lost in Blue is an amazing game, one of those that makes full advantage of the unique opportunities the Nintendo DS affords. A sequel to the game Survival Kids, Lost in Blue puts you in the role of a young man shipwrecked on a tropical island. It is up to you to hunt, gather, survive, and create in ways that will help you live in comfort and perhaps even make your way off of the island.

Lost in Blue...........

K Holl "kdog", amazon.co.uk
28 May 2008
  • Summary: Lost in blue is a game similar to trace memory,as it tells a mystery story. The plot is based on some people that are marooned on an island in the ocean. The character's name is Keith and soon you find a companion. You collect items like bark, seaweed and twigs. If you don't have an instruction booklet it doesn't matter as the game is simple. The graphics are average.

Can You Survive

lizzy86, Play.com
29 December 2007
  • Conclusion: In this game you are stranded on a desert island and have to survive by finding food, fishing, making traps, hunting, finding shelter and wood,. This game make good use of the touch screen and microphone features. You will find a young women named Skye who you have to take care of but she can get really annoying and she makes the game frustating if it wont for this women the games would be really good.

27 February 2007
  • Summary: So, I think I've been playing Lost in Blue for about half hour when my fully charged DS runs out of battery.....it's soooo addictive. I would rate it a 5 for fun if I could just keep Skye satisfied for longer. Also, I would really like to get to grips with catching some of the wild animals roaming around which my 7 year old has managed several times after play the game for a total of one hour to my 100 hours!!?? Buy it..
