Summary: If you are worried about not being able to hunt or spear fish, then play the male character. If you want to boss around a guy to do it for you, play as the girl. Either way, I thought this game was far better than the previous two. You don't die as easily (a big plus!) and the girl doesn't have to be lead around by her hand. Regardless which sex you play, you can ask the other to go looking for firewood or collect food while you are away.
Summary: This is the second Lost in Blue I've played. The first, LIB2, was extremely hard (dying was easy!) but satisfying once completed. LIB3 is the better storyline, but it's almost too easy not to die. You play as either a boy or a girl, lost on a mysterious island. You meet two other people and join forces against the island. I didn't find this game sexist as other people did. True as a girl you couldn't hunt, but cooking was a LOT easier.
Summary: This is a great game with many improvements since LIB 1. I almost didn't buy this one because I didn't really like the restrictions in LIB 1. In this one there is no time limit and you can also decided which persons goes along with the main character and if you decide that you would rahter have one character go off and get wood and the other get meat while you explore you can do that also.
Too similar to LIB2 - and various annoying details

Summary: I like turn based strategy games, and enjoyed LIB2, so I thought I would like the latest edition. The good? Graphics are great, multiple characters, complexity of the story. The bad? Sexism (the female character can do hardly anything by herself and so is not worth playing, which annoys me because as a woman, I prefer playing the female character). It didn't bother me that they drew her as a sexy imp, scantily clad.
Summary: The graphics looked like it was going to be a fun game but the commands it gave you to do survival skills didn't work. The X an Y buttons did nothing. So my person just died unable to do anything but roam around. Sad but true. It had to go back must have been defective as my other games work.
Summary: I've only played this a little, but it's a fun game, It's a little better than Lost in Blue2 which I have also. I also plan on getting the first one. Also if you like those Sims 2 Castaway is a good one to get.
Summary: I am a great fan of this series, and have played the previous two for the DS. In some ways, LIB3 is an improvement: it is much easier to stay alive and there is a better balance between survival and exploration. If anything, the balance has tipped too far: I found that it was too simple to stay alive, and some of the "feel" for how hard it is to make a life on a deserted island is missing. I liked that feel, though I know many people found it frustrating.
