Summary: Wasn't sure my 8 yr old son would take to a game that wasn't all character and action, but he truly enjoys this game. He tells me when he has mastered a challenge so I know he's into it. I like any activity that makes my children think. We need more games made like it!
Summary: I got this for my 9 year old son. He loves it! He is not as much of a gamer as my other son, but he could not put this game down. I love it too. It really makes you think to try to figure out each puzzle. He is really fast at solving the puzzles. We were stuck on one puzzle, and his civil engineer uncle helped out. He too really loved this game! Very good game, especially for those kids and adults that love to see how things work!
Summary: I purchased this game for myself several months ago as I was given a Nintendo last Christmas. I enjoy puzzles, word games and mechanical-type scenarios and am a senior woman - I love this game. Some puzzles are easy and some really make a person think as to the physics involved in solving what would seem a simple puzzle.
Summary: I purchased this game for my 10 year old son that loves to build contraptions, work with electricity, Legos, and build most anything. It was perfect for him! It was an entertaining game for him but still had him using his logic skills to figure it out. I was very pleased! I like it when I know brain power is being used while my children are having fun! I definitely recommend this game!
Summary: My son is high-functioning autistic and this game is helping him. ANYTHING that helps is great, in my eyes. The game is challenging and you have to build machines to get things to work, so if you're not mechanically inclined, I don't recommend it. If you want to give your brain a workout, I highly recommend it.
Summary: I gave my wife this game as a gift and she loved it. The story is good, the puzzles are well designed, challenging and she couldn't stop playing. She was sad it didn't last longer. I definitely recommend this game.
Summary: I will have to update this review but I'm extremely excited to have found the product. My 8 year old just did a simple physics chapter/test in school last week and he had to complete a project displaying his knowledge as well. I wish I had found this game before so he could have applied it all in virtual time. It's never too late. I hope he enjoys it this Christmas. I love that there are so many educational entertainment options for Nintendo systems.
Summary: Thumbs up for this game. Two of my favorite DS games are Gravity and Crazy Machines. Build it, press play, and watch what happens. The physics in Logic Machines are good .... similar to Crazy Machines, not quite as perfect as Gravity, but far far better than the wreck of a game that Mechanic Master is.
