Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
8 May 2009
Conclusion: The only real complaint I have with Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ is in the way the auxiliary weapons were handled. In addition to your infinite-ammo main weapon, along the way you'll also find a shotgun, flame thrower, laser, and grenade launcher, but ammo for these is woefully scarce.
Conclusion: Budget Nintendo DS games can either be fantastic or the worst games ever created. In this case Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ is terrific. For only $20 you get the gameplay of old school games, something that is lost in most modern games. If you can find this game then pick it up, zombie fans should make this game a mandatory purchase.
Excerpt: Little Red Riding Hood: Zombie BBQ is a fun little distraction for the DS. It's probably the only game coming to the handheld that almost received an M rating, barely coasting in with a T instead. And it somehow manages to take the classic Grimm fairy tale and make it even more bizarre and unsettling.
Excerpt: If you're like me, you've played boatloads of action games. From Nazi-killing vampires to Mafia hitmen to scientists with no voice, we've done them all. We've handled countless arsenals, almost all of which consist of, at the very least, a pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, grenades, and a rocket launcher. We've seen the same stereotypical action game crap go on over and over. We're jaded.
